Micro-Cap on the Move; Sunpeaks Ventures Inc. (SNPK)

Shares of Sunpeaks Ventures Inc. (OTC: SNPK), a distributor of hard-to-find and specialty drugs to the healthcare provider market in the U.S., are continuing to rally in trading today.

At last check, SNPK shares were trading 29.55% higher at $0.0570 on volume of 835,039. The stock has now gained more than 61% in the last three trading sessions.

SNPK’s recent gains could be due to some stock promotion activity as the company has not made any major announcements in the last few weeks.

According to a filing made by Sunpeaks Ventures last month, the company had total revenue of $478,000 for the three-month period ended March 30, 2012. SNPK’s gross profit for the quarter ended March 30, 2012 was $213,000. The company posted a net loss of $343,000 for the three-month period.
