Hot Stock; Globalink Ltd. (GOBK)

Shares of Globalink Ltd. (PINK: GOBK) are seeing a huge rally in trading today. At last check, GOBK shares were trading 850% higher at $0.190 on above average volume of 1.32 million. The stock rose to an intra-day high of $0.39 today.

Globalink is a provider of online hotel booking services mainly for travel agents in several cities, including Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Montreal.

According to a 10Q filing made by GOBK last month, the company had received revenue of $106,727 for the three-month period ended March 31, 2012. The company’s revenue for the same period last year was $62,735.

The company stated in the 10Q filing that it is currently working on the hotel booking website. The company said that initial structure and preliminary functions for the website have been done, however, more work will be required before the site can be used and tested.
