Big Mover; Circle Star Energy Corp. (CRCL)

Shares of Circle Star Energy Corp. (OTC: CRCL), a company focused on the exploration of oil and gas properties, are soaring in trading today.

At last check, CRCL shares were trading 9.68% higher at $0.680 on volume of 34,222. Despite today’s gains, the stock is down more than 22% in the last three trading sessions.

According to a 8K filing made by Circle Star Energy recently, the company entered into the Second Amendment to Leasehold Purchase Agreement extending the closing date from May 31, 2012 until September 28, 2012 of its earlier reported purchase agreement with Wevco Production Inc. for of Wevco’s rights, title and working interest in and to certain oil and gas leases.

The leases cover an approximate area of 64,575 net acres and are located in Gove and Trego Counties in Kansas.
