On 02/03/2014 Integrated Device Technology announced its latest quarterly results. “The third quarter of fiscal 2014 marked a breakthrough in terms of financial performance,” said Greg Waters, president and chief executive officer. “While revenue was in line with the guidance we provided last quarter, a favorable product mix contributed to non-GAAP gross margins above expectations at 62.4%, which, combined with our continued focus on expense control, drove non-GAAP operating margins and non-GAAP EPS from continuing operations to 22.0% and $0.17 per share, respectively.”

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a range of mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications, computing, and consumer industries worldwide. It operates in two segments, Communications, and Computing and Consumer. The Communications segment offers communication timing products, such as clocks and timing solutions; flow-control management devices comprising Serial RapidIO switching solutions; multi-port memory products; telecommunications semiconductor products comprising TDM switching and voice processing; static random access memory products; first in and first out memories; digital logic products; data converters; radio frequency products; and MEMS oscillator solutions. This segment markets its products to the enterprise, data center, and wireless markets. The Computing and Consumer segment provides clock generation and distribution products, programmable timing devices, computing timing solutions, PCI Express switching solutions, high-performance server memory interfaces, PCI Express flash controllers, PC audio products, power management solutions, and signal integrity products. This segment offers its computing products primarily for storage and server applications, and personal computers; and consumer products principally for gaming consoles, set-top boxes, digital TV, and smart phones. The company markets its products primarily to original equipment manufacturers through various channels, including a direct sales force, distributors, electronic manufacturing suppliers, and independent sales representatives. Integrated Device Technology, Inc. was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in San Jose, California.

According to his biography, he has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company, effective January 6, 2014. Mr. Waters previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Front-End Solutions at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (“Skyworks”) from 2006 until 2012. Prior to 2006, he served in various positions at Skyworks since joining that company in 2003, including Executive Vice President beginning in 2005, Vice President and General Manager, Cellular Systems beginning in 2004 and Vice President, Linear Products beginning in 2003. From 2001 until 2003, Mr. Waters served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Agere Systems Inc. (“Agere”) and, beginning in 1998, held positions at Agere as Vice President of the Wireless Communications business and Vice President of the Broadband Communications business. Prior to working at Agere, Mr. Waters held a variety of senior management positions at Texas Instruments Inc., including Director of Network Access Products and Director of North American Sales. Mr. Waters holds a B.S. of Engineering from the University of Vermont and an M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
