Micro-Caps on Watch; Petron Energy II Inc. (PEII), Nuvilex Inc. (NVLX), diaDexus Inc. (DDXS)

Shares of Petron Energy II Inc. (OTC: PEII), a company engaged in the development, exploration, production and sale of oil, gas, and gas liquids in Texas and Oklahoma, saw a huge rally in trading today. The stock ended the day 525% higher at $0.0750 on above average volume of 22.80 million. It hit an intra-day high of $0.09. PEII shares have gained 814.63% in the last three trading sessions.

PEII shares skyrocketed in trading today after the company provided an update on LaNina and Covenant Wells and also announced additional 15% production increase from several wells in its Oklahoma properties.

Shares of Nuvilex Inc. (OTC: NVLX), a biotechnology and life technology company engaged in the development and marketing of products for enhancing the health and well-being worldwide, surged in trading today. NVLX shares ended the day 20.14% higher at $0.173 on above average volume of 5.56 million. The stock hit an intra-day high of $0.18 earlier today.

NVLX shares surged after the company announced that it is currently preparing the way to challenge Eli Lilly’s blockbuster cancer drug, Gemzar.

Shares of diaDexus Inc. (OTC: DDXS), a life sciences company engaged in the development and commercialization of proprietary cardiovascular diagnostic products addressing needs in cardiovascular disease, surged in trading today. DDXS shares ended the day 25.93% higher at $1.02 on above average volume of 2.94 million. The stock hit an intra-day high of $1.08 earlier today.

DDXS shares rallied after Feltl & Co. initiated coverage on the company with a Strong Buy rating.
