Dutch Gold Resources Inc. (PINK: DGRI), a gold miner focused on developing mining properties in North America, saw a sharp rise in its shares on Monday.

DGRI shares rose 48% to finish the day at $0.0037 on above average volume. DGRI shares have gained 208.33% in the last one month.

Dutch Gold Resources shares are gaining momentum ahead of the company’s press conference. During the press conference, which will be held on May 17, 2012, DGRI will announce important new corporate developments and an expansion of its business strategy.

DGRI will also host an Investor Conference Call on May 18, 2012 at 1.15 PM EST.
