Major Losers on December 26; TM, PG, KORS, NOW, AMZN, ESLT, WMT

Shares of Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE: TM), the Japanese automaker, are marginally lower in early trading today. At last check, TM shares were trading 0.42% lower at $90.80 on volume of 71,782. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $90.41 earlier today. TM shares have fallen more than 2% in the last three trading sessions.

TM shares have slipped in trading today even as the company announced that worldwide production for its Lexus and Toyota brands is expected to cross 8.7 million units in 2013. The company said sales of both brands are expected to be close to 8.9 million units in 2013.

Shares of The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG), a provider of consumer packaged goods, are marginally lower in trading today. At last check, PG shares were trading 0.35% lower a $68.27 on volume of 424,634. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $68.14 earlier today. PG shares have fallen more than 2% in the last three trading sessions.

Shares of Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: KORS), a designer, marketer, distributor and retailer of branded women’s apparel and accessories and men’s apparel, are down sharply in early trading today. At last check, KORS shares were trading 3.45% lower at $51.72 on volume of 352,260. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $51.11 earlier today. KORS shares have fallen 6.6% in the last three trading sessions.

Shares of ServiceNow Inc. (NYSE: NOW), a provider of cloud-based services to automate enterprise information technology operations, are sharply lower in early trading today. At last check, NOW shares were trading 3.22% lower at $30.65 on above average volume of 1.03 million. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $29.99. In the last three trading sessions, the stock has fallen more than 7%.

Shares of Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN), the world’s largest online retailer, are lower in early trading today. At last check, AMZN shares were trading 1.01% lower at $256 on volume of 403,230. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $255.01. AMZN shares have fallen more than 2% in the last three trading sessions.

Shares of Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT), an international defense electronics company engaged in a range of programs throughout the world, are down sharply in early trading today. At last check, ESLT shares were trading 2.85% lower at $38.56 on volume of 2,300. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $38.28 earlier today. ESLT shares have fallen more than 4% in the last three trading sessions.

Last week, ESLT announced that it was awarded a contract by the Israel Ministry of Defense to upgrade the Israeli Air Force’s C-130H transport aircraft.

Last month, ESLT had reported its third-quarter financial results. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $677 million. Its net income for the quarter was $39.5 million.

Shares of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT), the world’s largest retailer, are marginally lower in early trading today. At last check, WMT shares were trading 0.57% lower at $68.18 on volume of 733,784. The stock fell to an intra-day low of $68.17 earlier today. WMT shares have fallen more than 1% in the last three trading sessions.
