Capital Trust Inc. (NYSE: CT) skyrocketed 20.45% amid high volume trading after Blackstone Group LP announced that it will be acquiring Capital Trust Inc.Â Blackstone will take hold of the management of CT Investment Management Co LLC and Capital Trustâ€™s co-investment in the fund for $20 million. Blackstone will also invest another $10 million for the equity stake in the company, which Blackstone will manage itself.
