Big Gainer; U.S. Silver Corp. (USSIF)

Shares of U.S. Silver Corp. (PINK: USSIF), a company engaged in the exploration, extraction, and development of solver-copper-lead metals, are seeing a huge rally in trading today.

At last check, the penny stock of USSIF was trading 25.35% higher at $1.78 on above average volume of 1.25 million.

U.S. Silver shares are soaring after Hecla Mining Company announced plans to make an all cash offer to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the company for C$1.80 per share and all of the outstanding common share purchase warrants of the company for C$0.205 per warrant.

USSIF today responded to the unsolicited offer from Hecla. The company said that its Board of Directors is in the process of reviewing the offer.
