Micro-Cap in News; Sunpeaks Ventures Inc. (SNPK)

Sunpeaks Ventures Inc. (OTC: SNPK), a distributor of specialty drugs and over-the-counter branded multivitamins to the healthcare provider market, on Thursday, said that it entered into an agreement with the owner Dayton Dragons professional baseball team for the marketing of Clotamin®.

SNPK’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Healthcare Distribution Specialists LLC (HDS), signed the agreement with Dayton Professional Baseball LLC under which DPB will create and run a Corporate Marketing Program centered on Clotamin in stores. This is the third agreement signed by HDS with a major sports team. The latest agreement is part of a new marketing initiative to launch Clotamin in 90 stores owned and operated by a national retail chain in the Cincinnati-Dayton District.

Sunpeaks Ventures expects that counter point-of-sale (POS) displays featuring Clotamin will be prominently placed in each retail location during the program.

Mackie A. Barch, CEO of Sunpeaks Ventures, said that SNPK is excited to be associating Clotamin with one of the most popular teams in all of pro sports. Barch noted that the team’s incredible attendance record is testament to the quality of the game on field, loyal fans and marketing know-how.

Despite the positive development, SNPK shares have remained under pressure. On Thursday, the stock once again tumbled, ending the day 35.06% lower at $0.552 on above average volume of 37.04 million.
