Shares of Comstock Mining Inc. (AMEX: LODE), a gold and silver mining company with contiguous property in the Comstock and Silver City mining districts, have risen sharply in trading today.
At last check, the penny stock of LODE was trading 6.50% higher at $2.95 on above average volume of 2.54 million. The stock gained 14.67% in the last three trading sessions.
Comstock Mining shares are gaining momentum after the company announced the receipt of confirmation from the Carson City District Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) that the issues in the Notice of Trespass has officially been resolved and all conditions in the Notice have been fully satisfied.
Corrado De Gasperis, President and CEO of Comstock, said that LODE is working to establish public-private collaboration in Nevada and while the company does not necessarily agree on all of BLM’s conclusions, it is working through each one constructively and effectively to achieve proper and productive use of its properties.
