Shares of Universal Bioenergy Inc. (PINK: UBRG), an independent diversified energy company engaged in the production, marketing and sale of natural gas, propane, oil, coal and alternative energy in the U.S., continued to rally in trading today.
UBRG shares rose 25.26% to finish the day at $0.0238 on above average volume of 8.08 million. The stock gained more than 103% in the last three trading sessions.
UBRG shares rose today after the company announced that its subsidiary, NDR Energy Group, sold more than 1.86 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas in July. The volume sold by NDR Energy is highest in the company’s history for July.
Ken Harris, President and CEO of Universal Bioenergy, said that these are historic times for the company. Harris said that sometime ago, the company revised its sale priorities to focus on a combination of monthly term and generation related focus, and the new focus has allowed the company to enhance its productivity even in what have traditionally been challenging periods of the year.
