Shares of American Eagle Energy Corp. (OTC: AMZG), an oil and gas company engaged in the exploration of petroleum and natural gas, are soaring in trading today.
At last check, AMZG shares were trading 12.86% higher at $0.790 on volume of 17,837.
Last month, American Eagle provided an update on its Spyglass Bakken and Three Forks Project in Divide County, North Dakota. AMZG’s Cody 15-11-163-101 well flowed at an average rate of approximately 602 barrels of oil per day, 571 thousand cubic feet of gas per day and 752 barrels of water per day. The well was fracture stimulated on May 21st.
The company’s Christianson 15-12-163-101 well produced average rates of 595 barrels of oil per day, 385 thousand cubic feet of gas per day and 574 barrels of water per day.
Brad Colby, President of American Eagle, last month, said that he is extremely pleased with the initial production results from both the wells.
