Shares of Carbon Sciences Inc. (OTC: CABN), a developer of a breakthrough technology to make cleaner and greener transportation fuels and other valuable products from natural gas, are up sharply in early trading today.
At last check, CABN shares were trading 23% higher at $1.23 on above average volume of 89,847.
Carbon Sciences shares are climbing as the company today announced that new research confirms that its carbon dioxide dry reforming catalyst technology can effectively use low value, high carbon dioxide content natural gas.
Byron Elton, CEO of Carbon Sciences, today said that just like fracking technology enabled low cost access to deep natural gas fields, CABN believes that it can add significant value by allowing the cost-effective use of previously ignored high carbon dioxide gas fields. Elton said that CABN believes its technology has the potential to be transformational in a similar manner.
