Gear International Inc. (PINK: GEAR), a gold and silver mining company, was among the major gainers on Monday.
GEAR shares rose 63.79% to finish the day at $0.0380 on Monday.
The rally in Gear International shares was sparked after the company announced over the weekend that it enhanced its executive team and significantly reduced its share structure.
GEAR said that it appointed two senior advisors, Felix Abangin and Jamal Lucas, to the company’s executive team. Abangin is the minister of environment and natural resources in the Philippines, while Lucas is an emerging market resource development specialist with expertise in global finance.
Dale Geck, President of Gear International, said that he is pleased with the appointment of Abangin and Lucas. Geck said that the capital resource relationships and international affiliations of the two advisors strengthen the company’s capacity to attract beneficial execution partners for its projects.
