Digital Utilities Ventures Inc. (PINK: DUTV), an innovator in the Internet Protocol video transport systems, saw a sharp fall in its shares in Friday’s trading session.
DUTV shares fell 10.53% to finish the day at $0.0017 on volume of 39.19 million. Despite the sharp decline, DUTV shares have gained 41.67% in the last three trading sessions.
Digital Utilities Ventures has been in the news in the last few weeks. Recently, DUTV announced its planned launch of the First Open Source Media Network that will empower media viewers to create and broadcast their own programming for Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) market.
Garry McHenry, CEO of Digital Utilities Ventures, said that the platform will allow for live streams of video games, championships and Xgames style sports.
Last week, DUTV also announced that it is acquiring 100% of TORQ Communications LLC. McHenry said last week that the acquisition will provide DUTV with a financially strong, customer focused telecommunications partner as it combines the idea of DUTV being a true digital utility company.
