Shares of LuxeYard Inc. (PINK: LUXR), an operator of a member-based online marketplace for luxury home and other consumer products at a discount to retail prices, are up sharply today after the company made a major announcement.
LUXR shares rose to an intra-day high of $1.50. At last check, the stock was trading 3.52% higher at $1.47 on volume of 300,980. The stock is up more than 21% in the last three trading sessions.
LuxeYard today announced that it has expanded its e-commerce offerings to include one-of-a-kind and limited editions of fine art, photography and sculpture from collections worldwide.
LUXR noted that currently featured on its site are three popular California artists, including photographers Kelly Fitzgerald and Emily Goodman and abstract painter Michelle Oppenheimer.
Commenting on the latest offerings, Braden Richter, CEO of LuxeYard, said that art collectors, interior designers and consumers alike will appreciate the unique pieces and the confidence of knowing LUXR is providing them with authentic, high-quality pieces at rates below what they would find in galleries or other retail outlets.
