CHMR shares are gaining in trading today after Valdamar Perez Rios, Director of Weis S.A., announced scientific portions of CHMR’s Non-Hydraulic Extraction process that differentiate it from any prior technology. The announcement was made with the purpose of dispelling incorrect rumors related to the process.
Rios said that the new non-hydraulic or exothermic extraction process does not use steam, LPG gel, natural gas or the pumping of anything hot into the well being used and the central operation in the process uses only inert elements, which are non-toxic or caustic in any way.
Shares of Applied DNA Sciences Inc. (OTC: APDN), a provider of botanical-DNA based security and authentication solutions in Europe and U.S., are climbing in trading today.

Last week, APDN announced its third-quarter financial results. APDN’s revenue for the third quarter ended June 30, 2012 stood at $528,574, compared to $229,710 reported for the same period in the previous year. APDN’s net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 dropped 34% over the same period in the previous year.

According to a filing made by IWEB last week, the company’s revenue for the nine-month period ended June 30, 2012 was $2.54 million, compared to revenue of $2.51 million reported same period in the previous year.
For the nine-month period ended June 30, 2012, IWEB reported a loss from operations of $1.95 million, compared to a loss from operations of $2.285 million reported for the same period in the previous year.
