Micro-Cap on Watch; Medinah Minerals Inc. (MDMN)

Shares of Medinah Minerals Inc. (PINK: MDMN), a junior mining exploration company engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties mainly in South America, are climbing in trading today.

At last check, MDMN shares were trading 5.26% higher at $0.140 on above average volume of 4.60 million. The stock touched an intra-day high of $0.15.

According to a filing made by Medinah Minerals last month, the company had total revenue of $182,000 for the year-ended December 31, 2011, up from $74,000 reported in the previous year.

Gross profit for the year-ended December 31, 2011 was $145,000, compared to a gross loss of $86,000 reported in the previous year. The company reported an operating loss of $20,000 for 2011, compared to an operating loss of $278,000 reported in 2010.
